Ian entered the Haunted Inn and walked towards a little hallway located right next to the large staircase leading to the next floors.
After a few steps, he turned right, opening the door to the Staff Room and dropping hastily his briefcase right between two other briefcases owned by two servants from the fourth floor.

Even though he was the owner, Ian always liked being on an equal level with the staff working in his inn, hence the fact that he didin't have a self-attributed personal room. Instead, he slept in the dorms with the staff.

He took his mallet - wich was filled with his clothes for the week - and took his working uniform before putting it under his bed. Tightening his cape over his shoulders, he took his hat on his way out of the room and walked back to the lobby.

He smiled and thought to himself :

" For almost half a millenuim, I've been doing the same thing, day and night, and I still haven't seen a year as rich in travellers and new adventurers as this year! "

The young owner and keeper of the inn arrived behind the lobby's desk and sat on the comfortable leather chair he was so used to sit on for hours, sipping his glass of Tapped Haunted Wine - A wine with a little vampiric extra he and the inn's staff enjoyed producing in small quantities for the inn's vampire customers. - , waiting for new customers to walk in to ask for a room, wich he would hapyly awnser to with :

" One, two or three nights? ".

He ajusted his name insigna, took his wine glass from under the desk, put his hat on his head and waited for a new customer to come in.
